Dear Parents and Students,
**Show hair and make-up lessons will be offered during the second half hour of your child's regular classes the week of March 15th-March 20th. If you have questions about applying show make-up and fixing buns, please plan on attending the second half of class with your child during this week.**
Here are the latest “Alice in Wonderland” updates:
All performance and costume fees were due by last week. If you have not yet gotten all your fees in, please contact the office as soon as possible.
Tickets will go on sale March 15th
· Adults $12.00
· Seniors $10.00
· Children (under 12 years) $8.00
We will soon be looking for volunteers to help with a variety of pre-production projects for the show, such as costume construction and creating props/set pieces. We will also post a sign-up sheet for volunteers to help out during the performances and dress rehearsals (i.e. flowers, ticket sales, refreshments, programs, advertising, runners and dressing room helpers).
Be sure to check with your child’s teacher about tights, shoes, hair and make-up around Mid-March. If you need to order new shoes or tights, please plan early. Many of the dance supply companies run out of stock quickly this time of year and shipping may take a little longer, so order early! We also recommend that all dancers purchase a nude colored leotard to be worn under their costumes. This is especially beneficial for those dancers who have multiple costume changes. (*All Jr. & Sr. Company members should also have a black camisole leotard and black character shoes for this years’ performance.)
As we get closer to performance dates, we will hold a hair and make-up class for any of you who are unfamiliar with applying stage make-up and doing buns. Parents/students will be responsible for applying their own make-up and doing their hair for all dress rehearsals and performances (This should be done prior to arriving to all rehearsals and shows).
We are attaching another copy of the rehearsal schedule. Please note we have had to make one date change…the full cast run originally scheduled on Sunday, April 11th, has been moved to Sunday, April 18th.

Full cast run through, “Variety & Variations” at the studio. Costumes and make-up.
May 16 (2pm-5pm)
